Coral
Office Manager
With over 25 years of experience in dentistry and nearly 24 years at our practice, Coral is our dedicated Office Manager.
She received her education from Portland Community College and Pierce Community College, mastering the skills needed for superior office management.
She is our treatment planning and financial expert, dedicated to understanding patients’ goals and supporting them every step of the way.
Coral is married with two children and a few four-legged family members.
She spent several years competing in bodybuilding, ranking in the top 10 nationally for two of those years.
Since stepping away from bodybuilding, she has worked as a personal trainer, learned to ride dirt bikes, completed several races, and spends a lot of time on the lake kayaking, paddle boarding, and wake surfing.
Donna
Front Desk
Donna has been an integral part of Lo Family Dental since September 1997, initially joining as a pediatric dental assistant.
Her passion for dentistry led her to pursue advanced training, earning her EFDA license in 2016.
Donna’s vibrant personality and commitment to patient care shine through in everything she does. With over 32 years of experience in dentistry and nearly 28 years with our practice, Donna is a trusted member of our team.
Donna has three beautiful children, Makayla, Ethan, and Molly, who keep her young and active.
While not at work or one of her kids’ numerous activities, competitions, or events, chances are you will find her shopping her heart out or hiking and chasing waterfalls. She is full of energy and life and delights in living life to the fullest.
Leslie
Administrator and Insurance Coordinator
Leslie joined Lo Family Dental in 2017 and brings over 21 years of dental expertise to our team.
Her background as a dental assistant and front office administrator gives her a comprehensive understanding of dental operations.
With a knack for solving insurance puzzles and ensuring patient satisfaction, Leslie plays a vital role in our practice.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, and traveling, especially to the Hawaiian Islands.
An avid music lover, Leslie’s passion for 80s rock is unmatched, making her a vibrant addition to our team. She also dedicates her time to supporting community initiatives like “Come Walk with Me” for breast cancer awareness.
Makayla
Registered Dental Hygienist
Makayla started her dental journey six years ago, joining Lo Family Dental while pursuing her goal of becoming a dental hygienist. Armed with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Yakima Valley-Dental Hygiene School Community College and specialized training in dental laser procedures, she delivers exemplary patient care.
Makayla’s passion lies in forging genuine connections with her patients, instilling confidence, and transforming apprehension into excitement.
Inspired by her mother’s legacy at Lo Family Dentist, Makayla cherishes the practice’s commitment to patient comfort and personalized care.
Beyond dentistry, she finds joy in family time, coaching soccer, practicing pilates, and radiating warmth with her bubbly, empathetic nature.
Morgyn
Registered Dental Assistant
Morgyn brings a year of dedicated service to Lo Family Dental as a registered dental assistant.
Her responsibilities include ensuring equipment sterilization and providing comprehensive patient care during cleanings and exams.
She finds fulfillment in the vibrant atmosphere of the office, where work never feels like a chore.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, and spending quality time with her spouse, Marco, and their loved ones.
Known for her humor, diligence, confidence, reliability, and approachability, Makayla embodies the essence of teamwork and patient care.
Skiler
Registered Dental Assistant
Skiler has been a pivotal part of Lo Family Dental for nearly a year, serving as a Registered Dental Assistant.
Her responsibilities include providing chairside assistance to dental professionals, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional care.
Skiler values the personalized attention that defines Lo Family Dental, fostering meaningful connections with each patient. Currently pursuing a degree in dental hygiene, she eagerly anticipates graduating to further enhance patient oral health.
Outside of her dental pursuits, Skiler enjoys spending time with her husband and son, volunteers at Mission of Mercy, indulges in seafood dining, and explores hobbies like cooking, reading, and DIY projects.
Tammi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tammi, a Tacoma native, has been immersed in the dental field since 1997, dedicating the last 22 years to our practice.
With a profound passion for dentistry, she empowers patients to strive for optimal oral health. Tammi excels as a communicator and educator, emphasizing the mouth-body connection.
Renowned for her gentle touch, caring demeanor, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail, Tammi fosters meaningful patient relationships. Her intuitive
sense enables her to anticipate patient needs accurately.
Beyond work, Tammi relishes family time, particularly watching her teenage boys play lacrosse.
She actively volunteers, enjoys crocheting, reading, and traveling, and embraces adventure with activities like zip-lining, bungee jumping, and skydiving.
Zayra
Dental Assistant
Zayra started her dental journey with an education from NSDA in Puyallup, Washington, complemented by invaluable on-the-job training at Avenue Dental Care & Lo Family Dental.
With three years in dentistry, she recently joined our team, where her responsibilities include sterilizing equipment, assisting our dental professionals, and ensuring patient comfort.
Zayra finds fulfillment in building patient relationships, fostering trust, and honing her skills.
She resonates deeply with Lo Family Dental’s hospitality-centered approach, finding joy in making patients feel at ease.
Beyond her passion for dentistry, Zayra loves chasing the vibrant energy of raves and concerts, enjoying waterfront strolls, spending time with family, hiking, and catching a baseball game.
